When you sign up for the board, you are given the opportunity to have an Avatar and a choice of "your name" you post with on the board. If you choose to have a name other than your actual name that is fine with me. Play around with the actual Avatar (or do not show one) but I would suggest no one post pictures of your family as an Avatar at this time, or on the board, for your personal privacy reasons. That is also why you might not want to use your real name. Please remember as you post here your neighbors eventually will figure out who you are in real life. We should all know who you are, as we are neighbors. In the world of the internet, you must realize a "guest" can cruise and read our board, but not be able to post, or access your profile page. Members can see a partial part of the profile and that depends on how much you put in the profile.
When editing your profile, when entering your email address, be sure to hide it from public view as you edit your profile.
